Clean Bean in County Durham

It was ok. The things letting it down for me was the menu choice. And the tandoori chicken special Could have been cooked longer giving it an authentic tandoori taste and texture. Some items are a bit expensive for what they are.

A restaurant with values ❤️Loved it. We were served by this lovely lady who is so friendly and decent with customers. She even likes to help with the orders. The food was amazing. There are quite a few vegan options. The restaurant has a very sustainable items and it's philosophy was way more impressive. It's a bit costly but worth every penny. We enjoyed the food and the dessert. This lady helped us with the combination and our requirements. Excellent service. Calm atmosphere. Wonderful motto. Working towards Sustainable products and serving environment. It was a treat to celebrate an occasion and this restaurant made my day. The treat was worth and made me happy more than anything today. Loved the food and more than that loved the service by this lovely lady named Linda. A true generous smile and a very friendly service. Would love to visit again. This dining gave me an experience of a private romantic dine. If the food was 5/5, the service is 10/5 ...Thank you for making my day even more worthy ❤️

This was our fourth visit to the restaurant. There is a dog friendly outdoor courtyard at the rear which has heating and there are even dog bowls supplied. The waitress who served us is always friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is great and all the food home cooked and is tasty and great value. This time I had the Patatas Bravas with chicken. It was very tasty and there was a very very generous amount of chicken.Well worth a visit particularly if you’re looking for something different.

Staff were super lovely and accomodating. I had a Smurf latte and the vegan breakfast, the drinks were definitely the star of the show and I'll be back to try the other speciality lattes. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options too for breakfast which is always nice to see 💕

Lovely breakfast, the place was full so we had to sit outside but luckily the weather played its part. Really enjoyed it.

Popped in for lunch today and had a steak sandwich and turmeric latte. All very tasty and staff are always friendly and attentive. Currently running on a reduced menu, hoping they get the full menu or an updated menu soon.

Had a great breakfast here last Friday - full English and a breakfast burrito. Food quality was superb, especially the sausages and nothing felt greasy. Staff were friendly and efficient and the environment is lovely. Well worth a visit!

Great food, well mannered and friendly staff. Nice selection of teas and coffees - I recommend the Japanese Cherry green tea. Ability to choose which eggs you'd like is a nice touch. Lovely calm and inviting atmosphere. Will definitely return!

Not impressed £9.50 i asked for full english without the meat just mushrooms, eggs, tomato, toast etc. My order was Very simple, looked presentable but the mushrooms were either re-heated or over a weeks old. Shrivelled, dry and no taste and over priced. The girls who served me had good customer service but the food was disgusting and over priced. Honestly, one of the worst breakfast i’ve had.

We love coming here on date days and nights. We have brought our boys a long at times and they love a breakfast here! We brought our dog this morning (entrance for dogs are at the back of Clean Bean) a nice.little touch bringing out a bowl of water for your dog. Absolutely fantastic food offering a wide range of clean foods.My photos are of our last 2 visits, breakfast and lunch menu.
