Did it just get more expensive??? I realise its extra super cool with Cockney Hipster bar staff but please don't be so pushy about what I want to drink. Still i guess its a safe place for the over 70's spending their superannuation on hellishly expensive beer............I used to really like it here!

Great selection of beers and great food. The bar staff are brilliant giving the place a top atmosphere. They joined in with all the banter of the night and always happy to help and smiling.

This little haven, in Durham Town, offers brilliant service and exceptional beers. From Omnipollo boutique sours to more conventional Beavertown brews, the selection is absolutely massive. Absolutely loved the Aussie barman. G'day mate. He highly recommended the vegan food, which was top notch. Also make sure you order the Cech beer that takes for ever to pour. 😉 Brilliant bar, brilliant barman, brilliant banter.

Best place for a beer in Durham!! Tried the food for the first time and really enjoyed the vegan donner fries (I'm not vegan!), love this place.

Lovely quiet area in a sun trap just off the main busy road. Excellent choice of ales.Music very good soul music to relax to in the sun.Food is pricey so didn't bother ordering pizza as a margerita was a tenner.
