Inshanghai in County Durham

We came here for food and I have to say, the food is absolutely beautiful! All you can eat and amazing tasting food! I will 100% be returning and highly recommend less than £10 each for lunch, brilliant

This was the first time we have been and will definitely be calling again. The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't fault the service. Buffet was brilliant with a wide choice of starters, mains, and desserts, with a good choice of drinks as well .Very clean and tidy with a nice view of the river. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Always a great experience coming for the all you can eat, I've been many a time and everytime without fail the food is so flavourful and I cant stop thinking about their sweet and sour chicken, It's amazing!! I honestly can't think of a fault for this place if you've not been before, You should! Highly highly recommended, great job team Inshanghai!!

Food variety wasnt up to much, but mostly tasty. Chopsticks option waa fun. We were asked to wear a mask to go upto the buffet, no gloves provided for touching all of the utensils when filling your plate..

Would of give a zero star if I had the choice , literally the worse buffet restaurant I’ve ever been .Food has no taste, lunch menu are very poor, not much choice of food , barely any dessert , no sauce provided ,me and the kids left after the first plate of food because we all felt a little sick , £36 , not worth it . Pity the place is in such a good location , wasted the space .

Still a decent all you can eat Chinese buffet. We went around 2.00pm and it was quite busy.Masks still a must.Looking a bit dated and scruffy inside but food is still good, hot and tasty.Overall 4 🌟

Excellent meal at lunchtime and very fresh given a buffet service. The extraction was very good also so didn't come out smelling like sweet and sour !!! Excellent service I WILL be back. Durham is a fantastic place to visit this time of the year with plenty of culture, great river walk, eating and drinking places.

Food was fresh, plenty choice

Prawn and sea food lovers will love this place .They have different prawn dish , crab , shell , pork , beef , chicken and few veggies items .I just loved it .Very satisfied buffet .My friends enjoyed all chicken dishes and dessert . Especially jellyMy favourite was rib, prawn and crab 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍Sitting in the toilet lounge was funny .. Evrything was clean and sanitised well .Customers are wearing mask while taking the food .Buffet cost 14£ pp

I love inshanghi and have done for many years now, definitely my favourite Chinese restaurant. Buffet style food with a salad bar, sushi, a huge selection of hot foods, sauces, desserts etc, everything you could possibly want from a Chinese restaurant and all cooked beautifully. Lovely, clean interior, including the toilets. Nice bar as you walk in where you can sit and have a few drinks before having food with stunning views overlooking the river.
