JD Wetherspoon Company Row in County Durham

Popped in for a little drink at the end of our date, I had Pepsi, he had Erdinger and we ordered from the snacks menu. Staff are friendly, only small issue with here is the parking. Toilets nice and clean, bar well kept.

Really enjoyed visiting this pub today. The staff were very professional as they dealt with our requirements. The food was excellent our curry was tasty as was the nan and popadoms.Well done we shall return.

Would have been 4* but I've had to knock 2 off simply because of the state of the glasses. They are absolutely filthy and cloudy. This glass was what I was given to pour a bottle into. It's totally unacceptable especially when paying over £3 for a bottle. You really need to sort a new chief cook and bottle washer out.

I've been multiple times and I will say as former floor staff and current bar staff at a unrelated astablishment your waiter (Rob) has been excellent for weeks all night long and I'm so happy with his service thank you Rob for making so many good nights come to pass.

Great pub - good for food or a night out. Won’t break the bank either.

Great place always a seat and plenty of happy faces & chatter..its my go too place when in town..staff always happy to help and always seem on point 👉 👈 👍..There's nice wetherspoons and grotty wetherspoons. This is one of the best i have been in imho,. Simple, nice, homely, friendly, pretty fashionable 🥂👍

Very overcrowded and noisy , couldn't get a table for ages.More a drinking pub than one to have a meal in.The staff however were very hard working and efficient.

This is one of the best Wetherspoon's around. The food is almost always hot - I suggest that other Wetherspoon's staff use this pub as a training ground. There were excellent Covid-19 measures in place when we visited and we witnessed the tables being cleaned between customers.

Sat outside in the large undercover area. Ordered drinks and food via the app.Everything came out pretty quickly but the food could have been better. The meat was over cooked, quite clearly having sat pre-cooked and then reheated.But all nice enough, place kept clean and tidy. Lots of provisions in place to keep covid secure. Will definitely head back soon.

Decent and enjoyable Wetherspoons. Bit more like a drinking shed than a pub, as it's just a large hall space with a big bar.Don't let that put you off though, it's clean, friendly and welcoming. Nice staff, food looked good and it was great value. A good visit!
