Lebaneat in County Durham

The food was delicious, but service was slow. We didn't get the dish we ordered, but it didn't matter because it tasted so good. The decor was lovely - hand made wall hangings

It's a good place to eat in. The food was tasty. However when I walked in it took me a good while to grab the waiteress's attention to get seated. Furthermore nobody asked me if I was happy with my food. Great food, service not top notch.

Went out for a meal with my partner to Lebaneat and to be honest, the food was lovely and there is nothing bad in that sense. However, we asked for one of the mixed grill platters which are £25 each, when the food come we were surprised how much food you got on the platter, as well as chips and bread. When we got the bill, they had actually charged us for two, making the bill £50. This is where my bad review is from because they are basically just robbing you. How can you ask for one platter and then be charged for two. How is it possible for one person to have a £25 platter with loads of variety of food on it which is obviously meant to be shared. No wonder we thought there was so much food. If that is the case, why didn’t they bring the platters out on two big plates? Instead they brought one (that’s how we didn’t think anything). Of course we couldn’t finish it all and left a quarter of this platter but honestly they are just robbing people. Such a shame.

Took my family here. Been on a few occasions before. Food has always been spot on.On this occasion it took around 15 minutes before anybody came and asked what drinks we wanted even though there was only 3 other customers in the restaurant.The waitress must of been late for work as she was arguing with someone behind the counter about being on the bus for 45 minutes.Food was good no complaints there.We will be back.

Maybe one of the worst experiences in a restaurant in a long time unfortunately.Our food took 1 hour and 30 mins to arrive after ordering, with their excuse being that they have ‘300 Deliveroo orders’- to which they chose to accept- rather than to make the customers, who actually chose to travel to their restaurant, wait an hour and a half for their food to come out cold.Maybe if they had managed their takeaway orders better they would not have a restaurant full of unhappy faces tonight.

Have gone to this place several times in the years that I have been in Durham. Quality food. Wraps are very filling but very tasty and lebaneat chips have a lovely spicy coating on them! Only real disappointment is the lack of choice for desert.

When we arrived the attitude of the service seemed very welcoming as we were told about the lunch special hours. However after taking our food meals and paying the attitude started changing to very rude and saying that we missed the lunch special even though we were told that is was on when we arrived? I don't know how the specials change so sudden. Would not recommend.

Very polite service. I reccomend the red hbiscus ice tea never seen it anywhere else. Food is very well presented and tasty.

I had never tried Lebanese food so was pleasantly surprised by this place. As a vegetarian I found they had a good selection on offer. Love the thin breads and the moussaka was delicious. Wasn’t sold on the Lebanese lager though. Very attentive and friendly staff made for a great experience

One of the best places to eat in Durham. Great range of food and the staff are brilliant too. Never had to wait long for the food. You must try their garlic sauce and Lebanese bread it's to die for. Really like the ambience of the place too.
