On site parking and drive through. Quick and easy service. Food not bad either.

It was quick and easy. Ordered on the app, drive through took a bit of time but it was lunchtime, and hey presto - food. It really is simple and gets rid of the long winded debate of who's having what just ask the dalek asks to take your order. Dropped a star simply due to the queue taking 10 minutes.

Busy McDonald's opposite Tesco in Consett. During peak hours (especially once school is finished), the queue for the drive-through can cause a traffic jam!!! Large car park with chargers for electric vehicles, two lane drive-through ordering system, customer toilets, tables with mobile charging points etc. Kids like a quick meal with chicken nuggets, chips and milkshake. If you chose to dine in, kids can draw in pads using colours provided from McD's. Can use the app to order, have a drive through, collect take away, dine in or even get your food delivered. McDonald’s never fails to get an order wrong no fries with both meals! Not the first time yous get order wrong absolutely fuming and rang 46 times yous have phone off hook for all the other wrong orders?!

Definitely going downhill, obviously depends on what time you go, if it's not busy then usually not a problem but go at the popular times which most families do then it's certainly not fast food anymore, queue to get in, drive thru too busy so you go for click and serve there are 2 problems here, some people get their order and decide to remain there and eat their food instead of moving to another bay and also you now have the delivery driver's in and I do understand that they need to get as close as possible to collect the food, my gripe is that this site can't cope with all the extra online orders, it used to be 5 or 6 minutes to get your click and serve it now takes closer to 15 and obviously by this time the food is cold.The staff are great and are always cheerful.

Sort out the seating. 3 families with buggies and no staff member said anything to the single man sitting on a table for 4... Or the 2 people on a bench. Poor display. The food also came out like it had been stuck in a tumble dryer. Half the staff look like they had a joint out the back.

Just been here and bought a chicken legend meal. I swallowed some of the chicken and realised it was frozen in the middle. Not cold but actually had ice in it. I received a refund . I then went to eat my mcflurry which had a massive hair in it . I will return here ever again . Absolutely disgusting.

Sometimes i get regular pan cakes instead of sausage and pancakes with kind of ruins my day.Staff are great though...Can be annoying when they say "anything else" on repeat through the drive through. Bit robotic.

Very busy as per usual, as there is no other MC D close to Durham, unless you go to Dragonville.The parking monitors are on duty to prevent people turning right into it, and blocking the main road.Inside is clean and the staff are friendly, so a good place to chill before doing the weekly shopping.

Usually no complaints but today I ordered two Signature Meals, The Spicy and The BBQ and although the food was really nice and hot they put the burgers in the wrong box so I was a couple of bites into my girlfriend's burger before I noticed.
