Easily the best chippy I've ever been to in recent times. Excellent reliable quality. Friendly staff. Busy and often have to queue. Located in the heart of the Middleton in Teesdale village.

Great, great, great fish and chips cooked in the traditional way. Moreover the staff are very hospitable and super helpful. Go out of your way to visit here. You will not be disapointed.

What a great place. Really good fish n chips plus a wide range of other takeaway options and you can eat outside! All served with a smile.

Lovely fish and chips. At the time of posting they've got covid measures in place and serve from the outside of the eatery. I walked in but you should go to the side of the building to order food and they serve it to you if you're eating outside. Great food and service.

Not as good as some couple of years ago, fish very nice, but chips let the shop down in my opinion, saggy and greesy. Would buy again but would not get any chips with my fish 🐠!!! 😁

Passed it many times this was our first visit. It won't be the last. I actually told the staff it was the best Fish & Chips I'd had in years & it was. I ordered 2 small F&C open & we planned to sit on the picnic tables at the front of the shop. I was very pleasantly surprised to have them served on real plates with a knife & fork same price as take away. Salt & vinegar on the table. The Best thing though was the quality of the fish & lightness of the batter which was crisp & light. The chips were equally impressive golden brown very dry not greasy looked like my mum used to make at home in the chip pan when I was a kid. HIGHLY RECOMMEND & WORTH GOING OUT OF YOUR WAY FOR.

Very helpful staff. I called a week in advance to our visit to High Force. I wanted to make sure that they can cater for vegetarians. They told me they have a separate oil fryer with veg oil in it and can make us some chips in that. I complicated things further by asking if the fish batter they have has beer in it as we don't consume alcohol. They told me it does but they do a gluten free batter which does not have beer in it much to my delight. The fish and chips were scrumptious and seevice was excellent. Highly recommended 👌

Lovely fish and chips and the tartar sauce is awesome. Staff are pretty cool too! Definitely recommend.
