The food was quite nice but the Service was Awful, we waited over an hour between the starters and Main Course, they really must do better. So if your are hungry try an alternative

Nice Restaurant, we walked in at 8pm on a Saturday night, and they were most accommodating despite being busy. The restaurant was nice and warm, and the ambience was nice....initially. Service was fast and my wife's Chicken Tandoori and salad was really well presented and tasty .However my Chicken Madras was really basic, and quite a small portion. Hence the 3 stars...but the one thing which dampened the ambience, was a table of 3 adults with about 5 feral kids who treated it like McDonalds ....running around, whinging and basically being a pain in the arse for other customers . There was no correction from the adults and we couldnt wait to get out..

Mine and the family's first time in Durham and of course we fancied going out for a curry. Luckily we didn't have to look far with this restaurant as it was just round the corner from the Premier Inn we stayed in. Reviews looked good. It was very quiet when we got there but we had nothing to fear as the food was absolutely amazing. I had the lamb bhuna, sister had chicken tikka masala, parents had chicken vindaloo and uncle had a chicken jalfrezi. Everything was just impeccable, amazing taste. We wolfed the food down and probably would have gone back for seconds! Naans were lovely and crisp instead of stodgy like from other places. Just gorgeous all round. Staff were also very friendly and accommodating. 10/10 would return and recommend.

Excellent food, wonderful service. I've been here numerous times and never been disappointed. Their bhuna in particular is fantastic.

Phenomenal lentil dansak, one of the best I've had.

Wednesday 1st December, 5:15pm, visited Millennium, and ordered aTake Away,Tandoori Cocktail, Onion Bahji chips, and 2 Popadoms.SO Disappointing…Tandoori Cocktail, the meat was dry and overcooked, making it tough, flavourless, the sauce was also tasteless, the seekh kebab was like eating sawdust glued in a roll. The salad with mint and Yohurt sauce was good. The Onion Bahji, soft and not crispy, also did not taste of anything. Chips OK. No Popadoms.I had heard so many good reports for Mellennium, So Dissappointing, will not be a returning customer.Sorry.Funny how the 5 * reviews are kept on

Went back after going to a more local restaurant. This is now my first choice again. Excellent tasting quality food.

6/5 stars for this place. Covid Safe! Floor to ceiling dividers between tables, servers always wearing masks, many sanitizer stations near the entrance. The food is also spectacular and copious. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a quality meal and date atmosphere while being Covid safe.

Amazing food, best staff you could ask for. Large portions. Great price. Best Indian restaurant I've been to.
