Good beer, friendly staff clean and tidy.

Had Sunday Diner with family (from kids to grandparents), and everyone loved their food with a mix of roasts, vegetarian meals, starters, deserts, drinks the lot. Friendly staff and locally sourced produce. Will definitely come back again.

Saturday lunch time menu was a few select breakfast items so named brunch! So with little choice we ordered the over priced full english! What an absolute insult when it arrived. Smaller than a childs meal for £12 each (and even smaller for the couple of items i asked to be left off, granted by my choice). No toast or fried bread. No tea or coffee included for that price.No items for children on the limited menu either, just told not at this time of day (lunch time!)Rip off, not great quality, tiny portions, over priced. Wont be back.

Booked a table for dinner with my wife and 2 kids. On arrival ordered some drinks and was handed menu. Only pies available. It would have been nice to be told when we booked it was pie night and no other meals available. Had to have our drinks and leave as kids wouldn't eat pies. Not impressed.

Very nice Sunday dinner.2 beef 1 pork 1 minced beef.3 starters and 4 drinks.£60 well worth the money.no complaints from any of our group.

I attended a meeting but have previously been there for a reception and a meal. It's a very welcoming and comfortable rural pub with rooms and much more

Just wanted to give you some friendly feedback, we went for a pub dinner on Saturday night, but the dinner area was overrun with youths, not only were they loud but the language was very apparent, and while I don't mind kids enjoying themselves if you are going to charge a premium for pub food you should at least have some where nice to enjoy it. I saw there was a separate dining area room so I'm not sure why they didn't ask if we wanted to move or maybe it was an occasion. Anyway what we hoped would be an enjoyable evening pub meal was anything but... We did have breakfast in the morning and it was fantastic, the dinner was ok, otherwise it would have been a stone cold 1 Star. Improvement required for paying guests...

Had a lovely stay at The Moorcock.Owners and Staff really nice and Welcoming.Room had Amazing Views ,very comfy bed.Breakfast tasty and ample,local produce used.We had a Delicious meal with friends in the evening.Was a flying visit to friends but definitely will be staying again..Highly Recommended

Very lovely place. Felt very much welcomed especially as we were new to the area. (Staying in a cottage close by)Dog friendly and our dog was offered treats which she did not refuse.Food was excellent, really impressed.

Beautiful Sunday lunch, called on on the off chance after a weekend camping nearby. They seated us immediately, and food was served within 10 mins. Local beef was amazing! Good size portions too. Definitely call again if I'm ever passing.
