New Peking House in County Durham

A country with one of the best cuisine in the world as China doesn't deserve this. Disgusting.

Ordered food at 5.15 told 45 mins for delivery no food by 6.50 rang up and was told its on its way 7pm it came food was freezing cold and meat spring rolls were under cooked and soggy . Think have to try somewhere else next time. Not the 1st time had bad experience with this place

Polite and friendly staff. We only like a selection of items but not others so now stick to the same few trusted items each time. Stir fry vegetables, esp onions often raw which spoils it for me. Otherwise, often satisfied with our food. Like the other review, home delivery is often a long wait (between 1 hr 15min to 1 hr 30min) which is off-putting so I tend to collect. However, I think phoning further ahead with an expected delivery time may help.

Lovely Chinese food 1st time tonight and will use every time i fancy a Chinese

This is the second time in a row that the home delivery service has been very poor. It’s obvious they priorities those telephone orders collected from the shop than delivered. They give you a time which in our case was 1 hour to placate you then the delivery is often late (1.5 hours) and rub salt into the wounds the food was not hot. Sorry Peking House we dot mind waiting as long as we have a realistic time, if you can’t then don’t offer a home delivery service.

Average, only tired as my local was closed. Deffo 50/50 in ordering again. As it didn't really have much taste

First and last time am ordering from here but on a bright side they have ice cold can's of diet coke

Beautiful Chinese takeaway, I’m very picky with Chinese takeaways as I usually feel sickly afterwards with some but this one is👌🏽. The munchie box is my favourite; comes with a bit of everything, excellent variety for a great price and plenty for two people (we usually order a spare bag of chips though). Everything is spot on and tastes delicious although only takes cash which is the one down side, apart from that very recommended!🥘🍚🍜.

Good food prepared quickly and always an enjoyable meal. Dishes are reasonably priced and options for delivery and collection. Wide selection of Chinese food and meal options. Take away has stayed open with covid measures in place: perspex guards, limited amount in take away.

Good takeaway that delivers for small charge. 9 of us ordered for a birthday celebration and, surprisingly, all got correct dishes🤭 with prawn crackers and spring rolls thrown in free. Loved my house special chow mein and we all cleared our plates.
