Nice big breakfast, all hot and quite tasty. Good enough coffee, too!

Great friendly service and also, just as important lovely food. The steak and eggs main dish was perfect. Definitely will return.

Came here for lunch on a Wednesday, it was fairly busy but not full. Shown to a small cluttered table that was so close to the tables next to it that I could have more easily joined in with their conversation than chatted to my own dining partner. Waited a fair while to have our order taken. A sullen waitress eventually brought the drinks but it was another long wait for the food. We had to move things off the table to make room for the plates but even then the table was uncomfortably cluttered. The food itself was very good! We were asked more than once if we were enjoying our meal, which was annoying. We planned on having desserts and coffee but the service was so incredibly slow that we ran out of time. The restaurant was half empty by now. There were several members of staff rushing about to and fro behind us but our efforts to flag one down were all in vain, it was as if we were invisible. Eventually we stood up and put out coats on etc - our plates still uncleared from the table - a waitress came straight over and said perkily "ooh sorry, we weren't ignoring you!" when clearly they had been doing just that. We asked for the bill which took another five minutes to arrive despite the fact that the restaurant was virtually empty by this point. Overall it took almost two hours just to get one drink and an overpriced macaroni cheese. We won't be returning.

Friendly staff and the best part is they are dog friendly! The pancakes are amazing just make sure they have them as the run out sometimes. My 2 dogs always get a bowl of water which is a nice.

Came here with my cousin while waiting for our friends to finish their marathon.Really nice looking restaurant with lovely staff.Me and my cousin both had bill breakfast brunch, it was really nice, with them we had a latte and a tea, bit gutted they didn't have different syrups for the lattes like caramel etc.Food was a little bit pricey but it was a nice breakfast though.Definitely worth a visit if your looking for something to eat.

Enjoyed a nice meal here on Saturday evening. The chicken burger was delicious and the apple crumble to follow was nice. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Nice place for easy eating, everything was as expected and not too expensive. The tables were clean and the staff were efficient. There was hand sanitizer on the tables, which was a nice touch. I had the halloumi burger, which was very good.

Didn’t plan on eating here in particular, we just happened to come across the place. So glad we did! The staff were very friendly and took our temperatures before we were seated. They were friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us, what a credit to the business!Myself and a friend ordered starts and mains - mine are pictured. Well the food was fantastic and reasonably priced for the high quality we received. Naturally we both ordered dessert out of pure gluttony because the food was so good. Honestly, next time I visit Durham I will be going here for food before trying anywhere else. Thank you to all the staff there! 10/10.
