Beautiful country side, then coffee and a sausage sandwich. We had to sit outside because we had the dog. The lady said they are going to open a room for Dog's and their owners. It was a little breezy outside but the sausage sandwich made up for it.

Poorly maintained road up to Parkhead Station but there the complaints end. Beautiful aspect, lovely tearooms and wonderful owners who were engaging and full of entertaining stories. Would we visit again?...absolutely 100% 👍👍👍

Unfortunately was closed at 2pm Friday 18 March , Its supposedly open Fridays and as there was no sign re opening times that we could see i don't know whats happened. Lovely place on a sunny day ! We will try again another time.

Amazing hot beef sandwich. Only slight downside, no dogs allowed inside and only 2 shelters to sit in outside. Beautiful in the summer though when sun shining

Brilliant cafe offering home cooked foods. Indoor and outside seating. Along the C2C cycle route. Staff are lovely, friendly and very professional. Food and atmosphere are fabulous. Thank you very much, we will definitely be coming back

This place is lovely, very clean and covid rules are still followed, which is good to know. We went as a party of 6 adults and 2 kids after seeing this place on Facebook. We love trying new places to eat and this place is definitely high up on the list. The food was beautiful, most of us had the hot beef roll and chips. Plenty of food and very very tasty. The staff were all ever so friendly and made sure the kids weren't left out, so this place is kid friendly. We will be returning here again and look forward to it. And the little boy who was letting people know where the toilet was, was so adorable. Oh and the tea and coffee were lush

I stayed here solo as part of my Coast to Coast cycle ride. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Lorraine was a wonderfully warm and welcoming host who makes you feel right at home. The rooms have quirky wooden doors and floorboards with views that are simply breathtaking. You really do feel as though you're in splendid isolation. The breakfast is home make and fabulous; perfect fuel for another day cycling. I highly, highly recommend!

C2C path goes right past this place so its a great stopover. Its literally in the middle of nowhere but the views are stunning. The hosts are very friendly. Rooms clean with a lovely hot shower. We stayed for dinner all homemade, very nice. Should you ever be in this part of the world I can recommend
