Pizza Time in County Durham

I've ordered from Pizza Time dozens upon dozens of times in the past. It used to be one of the best takeaways in the area. I'm not sure what has happened, but lately the food has been dreadful. Very poor quality of food. Such a shame. They're not going to remain in business much longer if they don't sort something out.

Pizza was drenched in grease, the crust was too thick. Said it would take 10 minutes and iy took 35. The food was covered in hairs and the dough was undercooked. The staff were more bothered about moving sauce than making the food.

Staff were going out for a smoke then coming straight through and working on orders.without any hand washing! Those who didnt smoke had to walk through a cloud of smoke whenever coming in the side door, whether counter staff or drivers. The pizza was over cooked,we would have took it back but we live a long way from shop 25/30 mins either way,chips were re heated and rubbery. The salad wasnt to bad but much prefer salad cold and not heated by storing it between hot packages .pizza time has gone down in my opinion,we used to be frequent customers not now.

Had an order waited nearly 2hrs for it got it stone cold they took it back and the second one was an apserloot joke hardly nothing in it and cold again sent it back and refused to give you your money back for it as well can not wait to see the owner about this matter as I have gone there for over 20 years as well what a jock then staff are time they were sacked this as hapent 3 times to me over the last 3 months as well the lasses that answer the phone can not e en get your order right at all time they were sacked ill be up there for my money back tomorrow and they will be something sed about this to there boss

Ordered giant mixed kebab with no salad over a hour ago theyv said it with salad bearing in mind I hate the stuff they said they’ll replace it for them to have me waiting an hour then turned the phones off so sat here with a wrap I couldn’t think of nowt worse then eating

Most of my order was wrong but when I rang up you apologised and sent another out within 40mins-which isn't bad considering it's a Friday night. This one was perfect the salad was fresh, the meat was done lovely and I really enjoyed the meal. Most pizza shops wouldn't even bother sending another, or say they will refund you but then don't. Thanks for the good service I'll definitely be recommending

Just ordered from this takeaway. Late on delivery and very poor quality food.I do not understand why some businesses choose profit margins over customer satisfaction. I have know idea who their suppliers are but the quality of produce is really below the norm.Pizza - had a slice, partner had a slice. In the bin.Parmo wrap - 3 bites. In the binChips - Cold but edible.

Absolutely awful. The last 5 or 6 times I've ordered from here, the order has come in about 90 mins. Could accept this as they're busy on a Friday night but to get this cold every time is unacceptable. Told they'd send another out but twice they didn't come and other times it was still cold.

We have always used pizza time if u look on records. I'm aware things get busy but u order at 6.30 on Friday then agree messaged no later than 19.40. Nothing came. Rang 20 mins later it on its way. It came but cold wend in bin. I've never had bad service from u guys. I would like a reply or something as 20 was paid and went in bin.

Just moved into the area, and placed our first order on line, waiting time was as advertised, but when the order arrived, it was wrong. My wife ordered a Shish Kebab, I should have read the small print, a Shish kebab consists of 80% Donner, and a few bits of Shish on top. My wife doesn’t like Donner, so 80% went in the bin. To complement her meal, she ordered a plain garlic bread, we ordered plain, because she can’t eat cheese. We received a cheesy garlic bread, and a second one free, both of which went in the bin. Luckily, my pizza was actually very nice, think we’ll be trying other shops before returning to this one.
