Port of Call in County Durham

Very disappointed salmon was served with a few green beans and sprigs of broccoli nothing else and Parmesan had no white sauce cheese was burnt and it was stuck on greaseproof paper dry as sticks I asked if we got any potatoes to go with salmon and was told I don’t know first time I’ve served it . Lovely place great location but dear me the salmon was £13 not bank breaking I agree but 3 green Abrams and sprigs of broccoli 💁‍♀️

Went in today and all the seats taken, mostly had people chatting while finished eating food and even buying drinks just to still be seated, wanted to give it a try yet with barely any seats, had to pass up the opportunity, place looks okay, just limited seating.

Good food, good services. However be prepared to wait for your food as it’s cooked to order the wait is generally 20-40 minutes. I would still award 5 stars but they don’t tell you the wait before your order.

Very covid secure ! Staff ensure everyone complied with the rules and they all wore masks ! Track and trace was straight forward with new app but manual was also available for one of my party. Service was fast and food was delicious, 50% off a nice added bonus. One of my favourite spots in Seaham !

Decent selection of gin and craft ales, perfect if you're out for a meal with friends and want pizza, dirty burger or anything with chips, with starters and sides such as sweet potato fries and halloumi sticks - in cool, trendy surroundings. They had a brunch menu too which looked like it had a tasty choice of food.I had salmon, which was slightly too done for my liking but was seasoned well had a nice crispy skin, and they were happy to swap out sides for something else.Overall pretty good!

Absolutely lovely service was great and food was amazing. Great portions as you can see give it a go
