Red Chilli Indian Restaurant in County Durham

Had a great night, party of 16 Celebrating a special Birthday. I had Chicken Vindaloo which was superb.

First time ordering from here and it will be my last. Turned up late and food absolutely freezing. Naan bread stodgy with no filling. An incorrect dish sent, when I rang they said they could replace that one dish but it would be later on as there was no driver there at the time. Ended up in the bin, waste of money.

The food was very good. It tasted very fresh and authentic, couldn’t fault the food itself. The quantity of rice however seemed very small. I know rice is normally smaller from Indian takeout but I expected the container to be firmly packed down with rice. I felt it lacked some. Because the main curry is so saucy it would have been so much better if the rice was a bit more to go with. I would still say order from this place, you won’t be disappointed on taste.

Excellent delivery service.Food still hot, an everything is tasty.Not five stars only because:1. First time they gave me free popadums and pickles (very welcome), but the second time the pickles arrived with no popadums.2. I don't personally like pineapple in Dansak, but that is just personal taste, I suppose.I thoroughly recommend them.

Had my first meal from Red Chilli this evening after it being highly recommended by several friends and I have to say I throughly enjoyed it . Good quality ingredients , polite friendly staff and still arrived hot for all I live 11 mile away. I will defiantly be ordering again 👌

Wow.Delicious, the food was spicy enough for me, a good kick without compromising flavour for heat, were accommodating to dietary needs too.Nicely decorated, really friendly staff.Took a takeaway home and will be back again.Today was my second visit.

Pre ordered for a 7.30pm delivery, it arrived at 6.25. My wife was not in from work so I refused to accept it. It was then delivered at 8.00pm. I feel it was the same food as it was cold. However we reheated it and it was good food but because of the experience I didn't enjoy. Punctuality is not this restaurant best point. I must say the delivery was understanding and not at fault
