Rumi's in County Durham

I would rate them 0 if I could the delivery service is diabolical 2 hours late and all we got whe we phoned is the driver has it leaving now then phone back hour later and same crack. This place is a joke they just put the phone off the hook so they don't have to deal with anyone.

Got an order last night it was all there but on opening it the tikka was neon and the sauce was just sugar … the biriyani was microwaved… I am a chef so I know this, the chicken was obviously cooked from frozen as it was warm on outside of chicken freezing cold inside … they had put on an egg on and it was shrivelled and the yolk was green… it was awful it ended up going in the bin… please do not buy and save your money ..

The food is good but the service for delivery is diabolical. It is the delivery drivers fault and when I chased I was just told all differing times. By the time it turned up, the food was cold. Unfortunately I will not be ordering again

I’ve ordered quite a few times from this restaurant and the food is great but hand on heart every time I order there is always at least one piece of food missing from the order. It’s happened far too regularly and for this reason tonight’s order will be my final order from this restaurant.

Chicken tika masla was more like a korma but red . It was very sweet not like a masla purposed to be . Never order from here again. Missing nan bread which was to be .delivered soon nothing has come 2 hrs later.

Off food with hairs in. One is acceptable 3 hairs is disgusting. Off sour mint sauce. Old chicken shocking customer services. This food isn't even rat worthy. It wasn't just the worst takeaway I've ever had it was the worst food I could ever imagine. Awful.

Worst Indian I've ever had. Mint sauce was off awful sour taste. Chicken was old. To the point where it didn't even look like chicken it was that bad. Mint sauce had 2 hairs in. Makhani had a long black hair in. What has happened to this place never ever had a bad meal. Customer service was totally shocking. They couldn't care less. Daylight robbery for off unhygienic food in these covid times to disgusting..

Delivery was two hours late....When they were 1 hour late they marked the food as 'Delivered', which was a lie.I really feel for any competent people who might be involved in the operation because it must be incredibly frustrating.The good news is the room for improvement is obvious.Cheers.

Terrible, worst food i have ever seen fro ma takeaway! chips were practically frozen, the main was discoloured and had a funny smell (supposed to be tikka massala?? pictured) poppadoms were soggy everything was just wrong and disgusting. bag full of greasy water. if you order from here you want your head looking at, place wants closed down!!!!

Recently UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT and food even better than before. Excellent food made to curry strength of my choice for no extra, good quality and really cheap evening as you are allowed to take your own alcohol which slashes the cost of the bill and means you can enjoy a meal with your own favourite wine, lager or whatever you want. £12.95 for 4 courses on Thursdays and Sundays and no drinks bill. Can't find any faults, good food, clean, excellent value and friendly staff. Good value every night you won't be disappointed.
