Good service, good food

First time chicken curry great

Probs best in Seaham at present.Curry is definitely better than other Chinese around since the Panda is closed and new owners at Sam's.Chips were nice. Plain noodles were great. Char sui nice in the fried rice.Portion sizes were big too.

just like a previous customer, food came cold, when we phoned shop to complain, got nothing but verbal torture, "what do I know about cooking etc" . I know it's got to be heated to 75⁰ and this food was not even in 70s.He did offer us a discount on next meal we order, but no chance of that, probably come cold again.my opinion, you need to listen to your customers, have you heard, "the customer is always right " and you should never be rude to paying customers, no wonder you get bad reviews

only reason you say this is concerning is you know I'm right when I explained that food was cold when it arrived at my door, at no time did I use any racial slurs, verbally abusing/intimidating staff or your heritage or your creed or your culture while over the phone or when I came to shop.I basically asked for my money back due to food been cold and inedible and it was you who used threatening behaviour because of that

Ordered from the standard in seaham food came it was cold phoned up to complain and got threatened by staff so won't be going there again next time will be going to happy eating

Absolutely Brilliant Chinese! New to the area do asked a friend and she recommendedThe Standard and they didn't disappoint! Food was excellent and Hot! Big Portions, and Delivery was quick and Delivery Driver Absolutely Lovely Man would highly recommend these guy's. We won't go anywhere else now! Thanks 👍

Food was edible! Ordered delivery 1-2 hours in advance still came late, then came and for £15 box it wouldn't feed my kids, noodles burnt was horrible chips- salt and pepper may well just sent a tub of spice were rank food was warm if that like been in the car since I ordered it best bit was the premade bought prawn crackers!

Been using Standard since the 90’s. Great service & their chicken curry is the best around, by far!The owners are lovely, hard working people - family run business & always service with a smile.I love cooking at home but when life is hectic & we need a takeaway, they’re on speed dial! 👌

Very nice salt and chilli chips where unbelievable. I think i had a bit of a semi on when i opened the tray. The prawn crackers are soggy tho but over all well worth a buck even if the cracker lacked enthusiasm for it.
