Sunnys Fish Inn in County Durham

Just had Fish and Chips and the chips were awful. Not worth the money.

Ordered a kebab wrap and a chicken and mushroom Parmesan at 7:33pm phoned up at 9pm to see where our food was as we was pretty hungry was told wouldn’t be long as it was out with the driver our food arrived at 10pm and wasn’t very nice tbh. Will not order again

Delivery took over 2 hours, contacted and assured it would be within a set time but never arrived. Staff when contacted less than helpful, won’t order again. Please AVOID

5* service from the wonderful young lady’s I see everytime I’m inside! Get treated with the upmost respect, especially considering my bizarre food options they blow my high expectations away everytime. If your out in Spenny after a night out, Sunnys is the place to be! 5* food, 5* service, even 5* hospitality! Sunnys Is the place to be, beautiful food and the loveliest people you can find 😁

Waited 2 hours for food,good portions but the quality of the food isnt very good.disappointed somes it up.

Just ordered a chicken parmo and kebab wrap - was 30 minutes late, the kebab was dry and the chicken parmo was so badly burnt it couldnt be cut! Also it had been cooked in the fish pan so smelt and tasted terrible! Defo wont be ordering from there again

Beautiful fish and chips good portion also spam fritter and chips both yummy meals. Pleasant assistant very clean. Worth a visit.

Its unfortunate this takeaway establishment has recently been given a 1 star rating i hope this rating isnt perceived as cleanliness and food quality most of it was because of paperwork and thats a shame. I know because my daughter and friends work there and they go in and clean even though they dont need to they try their very best to give the best food they can. obviously there will be mistakes and it goes with the territory not everyone will be happy because to much cheese or the pepperoni isnt straight then cook at at home thesr girls put in their all and believe me because i know how clean it is it is the only takeaway in spenny that i would order from how's about giving it a chance . We all deserve a second chance

Battered sausage had almost no batter at all. The curry and chips was half a childs portion of chips with barely any, watery curry sauce with hardly any taste. Greasy, recooked, soft, chewy chips as seperate portion. Greasy cod which only tasted of batter and looked more like a regular than a large. Extremely disappointed.Wont be coming back here. Advice people who like the taste of real food to not order from here at all.We ordered:1 battered sausage - £1.40Curry and chips - £3Large cod and chips - £6.90Chips - £1.80
