Rang 10pm this Sunday night fir a good sesh with 3 of my friends and my self to be let down with endless rings then a hang up. We then thought they mabe busy so rang 10:15pm as it does advert that it's open till midnight but had no joy. Very poor and very disappointed as I've always rated their mosaalas the best around. Resorting to Ushamoor's The Diner and have taken our order 👎

Worst take away we have ever tastedThe food was cold by the time we got home and to top it all having paid paid nearly 40pounds for 2 mains and 1 starter no rice was put in the order.Starter was rawI would never go there again

EXCELLENT!!!There was apparently a problem with the website this evening which meant my order was taken but not processed. When I rang to enquire, the girl on the phone was very polite, and apologetic. She took my order verbally, and said she would add some freebies by way of compensation which she did!!…….Bottom line; When it DID arrive it was just as excellent as the last meal we had from there 👍👍👍Hot, tasty, big portions…… AND, I even enjoyed my sample of my wife’s Korma which I often find too blandShame about the problems, but even so, I’d still recommend to anybody who wants excellent Indian food 😁

This has been one of my favourite Indian takeaway for years. My friends who have visited have always raved about how the food is gorgeous compared with their local takeaway.Tonight, however, We ordered two curries, both chicken tikka, the little meat that was in there was really dry.Keema nan should have been plain as there was very little keema in the nan.Called the shop to complain and I was offered a 10 per cent discount off my next order!!!!Won’t be going back. 😬M

Don't get me wrong the food is normally bang on. Last night though I honestly thought I was eating a plate of salt. Birds enjoyed it this morning though so not all bad

I don’t understand why this place has so many bad reviews, it’s my absolute favourite Indian takeaway by a mile. Every time I’ve ordered from here it’s been beyond delicious, the chicken tikka masala is so rich and creamy and always full of chicken, and everything else is always spot on and full of flavour. I’d definitely recommend going here, perfect place to pig out😋🥘.

Ordered food at 6.15pm asking for it to be ready before 7pm as needed to collect a child from club after. Promised it would be ready, paid and sat in car outside. Attended at 6.55pm and it is apparent just started to cook it as received at 7.10pm. Child stressed. Worryingly several people entering premises and waiting inside without face coverings (I was the only one). Pleasant people but even the woman taking orders had a face covering "sometimes": no screen at the counter. Vegetables raw or semi raw. Overall taste would have been very good (tasty succulent chicken) though too red, if not rushed. They forgot to pack the salad and I could only check after reaching home as had to rush to collect the child. As I don't live in that area, I couldn't pop back to collect the missing item which is what I really fancied that night. The mishaps and potential exposure to covid put me off, hence the low score, but I reckon the food would be generally quite good.

Though It's covid time and in Durham It's tier 3 lockdown. So i ordered dinner from Taj mahal. I must say i loved their foods. Their polau item was really good. I liked their sikh kebabs. Their keema naan is delicious. Their chicken tikka jalfrazi was good. But lots if color added. Those color stained my Dining table. It was really hard to clean off but failed. But come to the point about food, the items i tried they were really good. It took only ten minutes to get food in ky hands after my online order. Their price is so reasonable. I liked it. Looking forward to order more in future. Best wishes

It's very good. Lots of choices, and some new stuff that I haven't had at other curry shops -- like the banana flavours in the Kashmiri (I had trepidation, but it was unfounded: the Kashmiri is great).Tasty, fast, and the price is right. Polite staff.

Really disappointed after waiting 2hrs and 40 mins, two phonecalls and numerous excuses as to why our food hadn't arrived. We were recommended to try here and unfortunately due to the length of time have cancelled the order as there was no delivery enroute after nearly 3 hours. We definitely wont be trying here again.
