This is the best roadside cafÄ—/restaurant I have ever visited. Wonderful staff, Covid safe, spotless and fresh throughout. Extremely comprehensive all-day menu and very reasonably priced. We'll certainly call again when driving down the A68

Had soup and a roll at a very reasonable price. Tasty too. Soup was barely war when it arrived but this was soon corrected

·

Called in here the other day whilst passing during work. The food was superb and the service was first class the lady running it was very friendly and the 2 young ladies serving on were a credit to the business. I would highly recommend this place. Vern.

Stunning views and wonderful food. What more could you ask for. Very reasonably priced homemade cooking.

We visited for a late lunch and it is a clean and friendly place (more restaurant than cafe). I had the steak pie and chips and thoroughly enjoyed it, lovely pie and generous portion. Very reasonably priced for a lovely, filling meal. Would have loved to try dessert but didn't have time, I will definitely make time next time (the honeycomb cheesecake looked delicious) .

It's been a while since we last visited, and were regulars when the kids were younger. Had to attend a function and saw the cafe as we passed by and made sure to call in on the return journey. The cafe has been transformed and the food is all home cooked. Every thing on the menu is also available in takeaway.Their selection of homemade cakes and scones are to die for. The service was very good and we will be returning on a more regular basis

Lovely food with a vast array of dishes that could suit any palate. Good service and friendly staff. Value for money. Since the lifting of restrictions there is now a row of tables for two up the middle of the Cafe. We didn't like being in a position where people were constantly walking passed us on both sides, ordering at the desk, being seated being served, clearing up and viewing the specials board while we were eating. That was our only gripe, sorry.

Great stop we discovered a few years ago on our way to Scotland,we have just used it again on our way to Banburgh. The staff are lovely the food is fresh and tastes lovely. Love the way the menus are under the glass top tables,no passing them around ,great idea.Fantastic cakes!!Lovely views too.

First visit the wife and i had a cheese scone with trimmings very nice, everything is made on the premises, can't beat home made food, staff very friendly and welcoming, definitely going back next time we are in the area thanks to all the staff. Forgot about rhubarb and strawberries crumble with custard wow.

Nice friendly atmosphere. The staff where lovely. It's just a shame that they serve bangers instead of proper sausages, it's only my opinion but ÂŁ1.76 for a small filter coffee is a bit steep. Good covid etiquette.
