Terrible dining experience here. Waited ages for our pizzas then when they arrived one was black and burnt and all of them were covered in mountains of bright orange cheese. Avoid!

·

very friendly staff , lovely warm room and to top it off a very good hearty breakfast, only stayed 1night but will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future plus they allowed us to use the room until 2pm .

Went in for lunch, very polite bar staff, and a decent selection on the menu at reasonable prices. Service was good, and the meals arrived in good time.

Really nice pub the food was excellent and the staff and management were so helpful highly recommend this pub .

The food was nice - the halloumi fries were very nice with the dip. We ordered the fish and chips and the burger which again were nice but very oily, especially the chips. The service was very frosty, it felt as though if you weren’t a local then you shouldn’t be there. The venue looked very nice and quaint but I don’t think we’ll be back.

Just had our local Christmas meal at The Bonny Moorhen and would have to say what a lovely venue to eat and drink. Beautiful food and friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Stayed here last weekend whilst on the C2C cycle route. We had a really comfortable clean room and an excellent breakfast. The staff where all extremely friendly and kind. I needed a doctor when we arrived and the landlord insisted on taking me to the hospital at no cost to himself - on a Saturday, before the England game and with a full pub. I have never experienced hospitality like that and it was a genuine act of kindness. I can highly recommend this place as a warm and welcoming stop, good food and lovely people who I am extremely indebted to. We will be back. Thank you xx
