We went here for Sunday lunch and it was lovely. On arrival our Dog was made a fuss of and she got a drink and a bowl of beef. The staff are amazing and very friendly. Our Sunday lunch was beautiful and I got Eton Mess and my husband got Apple and Berry crumble they were both amazing. We will definitely be back.

Warmly welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. Shown straight to our pre-booked seats and ordered our drinks. Quick look at the menu and decided we would go 3 courses. As usual, fantastic food, which included the mushy peas and the all important āYorkshire Saladā.All staff members were friendly, chatty and attentive. This speaks volumes. As a dog friendly pub, there was a little āYorkieā in there with his family. A staff member came straight over with a little bowl of water and some meat for him. That speaks volumes in itself.Yet againā¦a fantastic meal, great atmosphere, and good value for money.See you all soon!Byron & Bev

Wonderful food, friendly and helpful staff. So good, we went twice in the same week!

They were very busy (they must be doing something right). None of our party were disappointed with the food which was excellent. The service was friendly. As mentioned it was busy and we did experience a hitch with the service, however once the problem was pointed out it was quickly rectified. Couldn't ask for anything more under the circumstances.

I love this place sincerely, although I have learnt to enjoy the savoury stuff and leave the sweet as there is no single dish that I donāt like.We were even impressed that the fish fingers for the kids menu were actually real fish! Like proper battered cod!We havenāt tried everything they offer, but we will be back. Also, they have the best nachos I have ever tried, but they were too good to take a picture of them. We promise to upload one in the future.

Never fails to disappoint! Already left a review on Facebook but thought it deserved a second. The service, the atmosphere, the food & the drinks are all fantastic. Itās plain to see that a lot of hard work and care goes into the Copper Mine, making it one of our favourite places to eat out!

Straightforward pub food nicely done with a choice of 2 well kept local real ales. The exceptional for me was the service the staff offered - attentive without being overdone or formulaic, correct orders and friendly! The decor too is refreshingly "on trend" avoiding the tired old horse brass thing. Basic stuff well done.
