Enjoyed a lovely meal at this venue with my partner. The meals were really tasty and the portions were generous. The drinks were also great quality...crisp cold pint served in a nice branded glass. Service very quick and friendly, prices very good for the quality and interior is welcoming and cozy.

Service was very good and it was nice to have a reserved table in a good position. We enjoyed our food and drinks but were very disappointed that the steak and ale pie is discontinued as I was really looking forward to that; it's a favourite. Please don't discontinue it in favour of a vegan pie; discrimination against meat eaters!

The young lady who severed our food and drinks was very friendly. The food was great. Nice atmosphere too.

I called into the pub with my husband on the way back from Durham hospital. Neither of us has been before but it looked really pleasant from outside so thought we would try it. When we walked in I was really taken by the pleasant ambience and the general decor. The girl who served us at the bar was very pleasant and professional. We had a look at the menu and thought it looked excellent. I even took photos and sent to my daughter as I knew she would love it. There was so much choice, including a separate pizza menu. I loved that there were different size meals as I have a small appetite. We weren't ready to eat on this occasion so just had another round of drinks (my husband was very impressed with the quality of the beer). However we are going to make sure we don't eat next Monday and are going to call in for food after my next hospital appointment!! I loved the outside area too so will look forward to sitting there in the summer!

Fond of a pint, we'd driven past here dozens of times in the last couple of years, but never had the time to pop into this nice looking place - until now. In the area for a medical appointment, we jumped in, and were delighted that we did. It's an excellent modern pub, great selection of drinks including cask ales, the Bombardier was sublime. The place is large and airy, but tastefully divided into smaller areas, giving the appearance of a more intimate space. The staff were smart, friendly and helpful. the menu looked good but we didn't linger for food, however our next visit is planned for food next Monday, after hospital! Thanks to all, a groovy place highly recommended.

Pizzas are fantastic... and only £6 on Tuesdays and Fridays! Had the meat lovers pizza with meatballs, ham, and pepperoni! Plenty of toppings and lovely crispy has! Great wid-week treat at a great price!
