The Oaklands in County Durham

It's ok. That's all I can say really.I had never been but passed it on the bus a few times and loved how it was out the way so went on Saturday and befor I even walked in the door there was broken glass, a lot, out of the front of the family entrance. After getting in I was impressed but it was a little empty but it was only 1 ish anyway sat in conservatory bit and ordered the mash and dumps. 6.45 again can't complain about the dish veg fresh nice mince home made dumpling but mash looked like it had just been tipped out a square tray.It's ok.... I would go back maybe in a month .They do do alcoholic slushes though so that a major bonus.

Food is stunning and really good prices too. Parmos are out of this world with best chips I've ever had.

Always get looked after off Jordan, Jamie etc. When we up here darts, doms and pool, good crack good bait good beer

i would rather eat a dog meat buttie the staff are pants the place is pants and had to be carefull not to get stabbed

Best pub in Peterlee. Food - excellent. Atmosphere - friendly. Staff - very professional and fantastic with my autistic son. Definitely worth a visit.

Great local pub with good prices but sadly will be no more as changing to an Italian restaurant

It was really good. Best carvery I've ever bought. Going back next weekend. Friendly staff n good hygiene too :)

Home cooked Chicken Kiev was absolutely beautiful as we're the home cooked chips. I will be back for more.
