The Olive Grove in County Durham

I've visited and eaten here on several occasions, normally pretty good however tonight has really disappointed, food was poor, asked for portion of onion rings only to be told they had no onions! I mean what restaurant or food establishment don't have a basic ingredient? Order coke with our meals only too be served flat (no fizz at all) diet coke when questioned the drinks I was told they had no normal coke, would have been nice to be asked instead of just been served.Table sticky very off putting.Won't be using again

Lovely food and plenty of it and feeling full is a good thing nice and clean and the girls at the bar are very helpful too .

Food not good, to much salt used in cooking all we could taste is salt. Very expensive. The place over all was very shabby in need of a very good clean and decorate. Tables not clean very sticky from spilt drink. I will not be returning here.

Called in for tea tonight. We were greeted by lovely friendly staff, Food was absolutely delicious & cooked to perfection & Pub was spotlessly clean with a warm, friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended

Popped in for a spot of lunch with my brother, both chose from the 2 for £10.00 menu, good choice of meals, perfectly cooked and presented, excellent value for money, would definatly reccomend.

Absolutely lovely family Sunday lunch. Staff so helpful and even took our own frozen potatoe that they were happy to cook for my very fussy son, which ment he was happy to go. Made my lunch enjoyable Thank you 😊

I got a cheese burger and it was the worst burger I'v ever had. It was pink in the middle and spilling out grease and fat of the uncooked meat. The chips were oily and greasy. I couldn't even eat it.

Lovely.We struggled to find somewhere to eat on a hot Saturday with suitable cover from the blazing sun.The outdoor seating area is lovely, some seating under cover, some in the sun. Just perfect.Nice little area for children to play, suitable for 1-4 year olds.There was one lady serving and she was just super nice. Attentive, accommodating and all round friendly.Food was great. Fish and chips was just amazing and the home made cheese cake was the best we've ever tasted. Can not fault the food we had.We would happily come back regularly.
