The Pancake Kitchen in County Durham

The waffles are very decadent and delicous. Ordered a bacon and egg sandwhich, which was on a brioche bun and was probably one of the best I have had. The hot chocolate is pretty decent. The staff are very friendly and quick at making the food. The prices seem reasonable.

Just had a take away pancake breakfast, when I opened the box I found the pancake burnt the bacon and scrambled eggs was fine....☹️☹️

Called in yesterday and we both had a pancake ,very tasty and good service aswell.lovely location

My grandchildren love it..even when its damp n drizzly..looking out at the boats..coffee is great too

Great little cafe with friendly staff. I loved the farmhouse waffle and the little 'un loved her banana pancake. Just what was needed after a bracing walk - will definitely be going back

It was good but nothing amazing. The food tasted good although was not a filling breakfast. The place was small and had no toilet. I also didn't like that they allowed dogs barking inside. On the plus side the staff were friendly and where attentive.

Been wanting to visit for a long time but was worth the wait. Decent variety of pancakes, waffles and fillings. Ideal for an early morning kick start, still suffering with a sugar rush.

Loved it .. quaint little place on the marina and great for food intolerant such as gluten etc as had forest of the fruits pancake!! You can get savory pancakes sweet pancakes and waffles and also cake!

Had a muffin and a coffee here recently and found it really canny.Will be back sometime soon and will try one of the signature pancakes next time, they look really nice.It is a small premises though and can't be anything else, so awkward with buggies etc but can't be helped. There's seating outside so good for summer visits.

Lovely place with nice food. Small place; only about 10 tables inside so during the summer I can imagine people cannot get seated but food is served quickly so turnover should be high. Staff very friendly. Have seen well behaved dogs allowed in.
