Great pub, very dog friendly. Nice food at the restaurant too. The manager Matt is always very friendly and welcoming. Cloudy apple cider on tap plus a range of IPAs to try.

A really bustling, lively bar, it has a great atmosphere and is dog friendly too!We popped into the restaurant area which was quiet at 6:30 but soon was packed out, very popular from 7:30 onwards.The food was great, I had gammon, eggs and chips and my daughter had tagliatelle, both dishes were cooked well and lots of it. Tasty sweets too, bread and butter pudding and rhubarb crumble.

Food was good although garlic bread a little crunchy. Waitress friendly. Service slow as it was busy. Food was half eaten before the sauces arrived. Good selection of beer that was well kept. No parking available.

Amazing, fabulous, stunning food. Excellent service. Would highly recommend.Had deep fried camembert to start was wonderful and a good portion size.Don't usually do "Sunday Lunch" option but did here and the roast beef was succulent, the Yorkshires huge and tasty and the gravy to die for. Veg selection was great too, perfectly seasoned and spot on with the cooking.Hubby had the whitebait to start, followed by salmon with hollandaise and these were also spot on (yes he had to let me try his too 😀).Great wine selection - had a great Argentinian Malbec which went well with the beef.Highly recommend this place. Great value for money, great service, great atmosphere! 20/10

Great staff, amazing food and dog friendly. The pub was very well decorated. I will definitely go back, I even managed to order dinner for my dogs, which they wolfed down!

Excellent value for money. Great quality food. Not sure what we were expecting from cold sharing platters only but very pleasantly surprised. Would definitely recommend. We will be revisting.
