Junkies in the outdoor seating area, dirty glasses and especially knives, forks and spoons. Overcooked food, filthy carpets, lazy staff who put customers at risk by failing to clean tables after every visiting customer and not one reason in the world I will ever set foot in that place again.

4 Regular Real Ale enthusiasts Abbott Ale being our favourite. Today, no Abbott next choice 2 were pulled then off. Next choice also off. When we questioned it we were told "Well we don't sell much Real Ale on weekends it's mostly SHOTS " !!!. What a load of insulting rubbish!!. We were served by 2 girls who simply had no idea and didn't care. Very disappointed !!

Good food for a very good price.great service. Only critical point is I feel it's looking a little run down in places.

First time in the Stanley Jefferson and quite impressed. Breakfast was well cooked and presented and as much coffee as I liked.. and at a great price. What’s not to like. The only person working there that had any remnant of a smile was the girl that brought the food out but not that makes any difference to me but it costs nothing to be happy at your work unless of course they aren’t.

finally the food came the long wait of 5 mins fresh out the microwave . To start my pizza had been for a swim before put on my plate and secondly i was able to re roll the pizza back into a ball of doe the cheese on pizza well there wasn’t any ! ☹️ my tomato pureé has the consistency of a puddle. Then just to round it off i went to the toilet and there was a dollop of poo on the toilet seat still probably tasted better than the food. And just as i was leaving was attacked by all the dirty plates stacked up on the side of the tables i was traumatised by the events that were taken place in this RUBBISH establishment P.S i have to go to counselling because i’m scared of going back to restaurants this is the worst experience of my life MANY THANKS DANIEL

Popped in for the first time with a friend last week. Had a meal and a few beers. The service was good and the prices were excellent. Could not fault really.

Cold surroundings especially for my 90 Yr old father .external doors wide open.Told they were fire doors so they had to remain open . Erm NO ! Fire doors should be closed to slow down a fire progressing . Female barmaid was rude threatened (that's how it came across) with the manager. Ordered 4 meals only 3 meals arrived only 2 forks . Waited patiently no sign of forks or 4th meal. When 4th meal and forks finally arrived it came with chips not salad as we had ordered. Bar maid said WE had incorrectly ordered via the application . My response was rather abruptly NO MADAM WE ORDERED AT THE BAR NOT VIA THE APPLICATION SO KINDLY DONT BLAME CUSTOMER.Totally bad experience. One of the worst customer experience I've had in any Wetherspoon pub.

Fish and chips was good for money. Pick most expensive alcoholic drinks and even cheaper. Plates were hot and food was hot. One or two chips undercooked but overall good. Good choice of ales.

Well spaced out, mobile ordering worked well, staff polite and friendly. Very much standard spoons with normal menu and drinks.

Sitting with the people I had been walking with. 2 pints of Shipyard ale, a beautiful and very large fish and chips for £12.70. Is not a bad way to end a day's walking.
