Good to be in a friendly pub, where you can hear and coverse without a TV on. Good location and good prices.

Website miss leading says dog friendly, but when you arrive you are only aloud outside with dog. Don't go if you are looking for dog friendly place.

Good cozy pub with great beers. It is a symbol and point of reunion for Durham uni students. Considering Covid would be better to accept also card payments... It is not 1800...

Great typical Sam Smith pub. Good atmosphere and usual quality beers/lagers at a reasonable price. Chatty bar staff and a, mix of customers.

Great value and atmosphere. People complaining about the phone ban and cash only: It's not hard to get some cash, and if you want to sit on your phone just go somewhere else.

Good Sam Smiths pub in a great location. Nice pint of Taddy. Reasonably priced. The Sam Smiths fruit beers are always the best as well. Return on the regular 👍

Nice classic pub atmosphere with a large availability for seating and groups. There is also a few picnic tables outside down by the river to relax and enjoy a pint. Staff was friendly and the beer is cheep (what I got was between £2-3). Would recommend for those on a budget
