The Tees'pot in County Durham

Cake and cuppa and the end of our walk, stopped off at the Tees pot. Seating available inside and outside - we decided on inside.... tea for one and a cappuccino and to go with a slice of cake each - carrot cake and chocolate orange cake... hence to say too slow to take a photo of the cakes.... clean and tidy tidy, friendly staff and and walkers are welvome. Certainly no complaints - just what was needed after 8.5 miles 😊

We were staying locally and were advised to have breakfast at The Tees'pot.It was great advice. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The cafe itself is small but very homely. The wonderful array of cakes, stones etc, is very tempting.Thank goodness we were full after a hearty full English breakfast. The best start to the day in quite a while. Well done and keep up the good work. We will return.

We had a full English breakfast here. We didn't have to wait long although it was cooked fresh (we could hear it). Fabulous little cafe with seating in and out. We didn't have cakes on this occasion but there were plenty to choose from. Recommend.

Lovely little place but don't be put off by the cramped downstairs - there are tables, upstairs. Would recommend the pear and ginger scones...with jam and cream! Lush😍Parking available, directly opposite

Walked from Mickleton to Middleton-in-Teesdale along the Tees Valley Railway path and fancied a bit to eat when we arrived and found this place.Really enjoyed our lunch here. Lovely friendly staff. Service was great.Would thoroughly recommend it if in the area.

The staff were welcoming. The fare on offer catered for all tastes.Had a full English breakfast which was cooked to perfection and not greasy!Good selection of tasty treats on sale.Can recommend this establishment without reservation!

Gets 4 stars for coffee and cake if you have just cycled over from Brough.As a cyclist you probably just want a quick caffeine and sugar hit before hitting the road again. But they are pretty good at fitting this in between the motor cyclists longer breakfast roll stops.Popular with walkers, cyclists and motorbike riders.Get busy on a nice day, only a few tables inside but room outside.

Didn't think we'd find much vegan options in the area but very happy to find out that Tee'spot is great for dietary requirements! Lovely food and fantastic cakes, the staff were very friendly and kind. Nice place for a meal after a walk.

Great service and good food. Cakes, breakfasts, lunchtime options. Typical cafe food.Staff really friendly, would definitely go back.

I have probably driven past about 100 times, but on this occasion was embarking upon a longer journey.Everything was positive, I will definitely call again.
