Great food and service.Ordered full breakfasts, mind out if you order the large.... it's not large, it's enormous.What a feed. Didn't manage to finish it, but tried my best.Highly recommended.

Had just travelled up and was hungry. As I had parked in Morrisons, seen here and decided to try it out. As it was Sunday, had a Sunday roast carvery style. Was really lovely and the meat was fresh and juicy. As we had came late, there wasn't all available options so they charged us less which was a very nice gesture.

Four of us had a delicious Sundays carvery and would recommend this restaurant/ cafe to anyone who is visiting Barnard Castle. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food is superb and is worth a visit any day of the week.

We were visiting barnard castle for a few days. We came here for breakfast. Lovely little friendly cafe. We had a full English. Excellent portions & all cooked fresh. Nice big pot of tea & Lovely coffee. Would definitely recommend. Parking outside in the morrisons car park

Four of us went into the teesdale today for lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed it we have been he many times as we have a static caravan in barney but it was the first time for our friendsIt is a lovely little restaurant and always busy the staff are very attentive and efficientThe men had minced beef Yorkshire puddings and chips and the girls had paninnis with chips onion rings salad and chips and it was stunningThe portions were huge and so tasty and we would not hesitate to recommend this cracking little restaurant

Very nice midweek roast pork lunch. Huge portions. Tasty and cooked perfectly. Very friendly staff. Only thing to make an even nicer meal would be..warmed dinner plates. Would highly recommend and will certainly return. Thank you x

Excellent Sunday carvery with a choice of 4 meats. Brilliant lunches, light snacks, scones and cakes and very friendly staff.

Great value food. We had the regular and large English breakfast, the large coming in pretty large and even came with a warning from the waitress when we wanted to order it! We also ordered the hunters chicken around 11am which is still breakfast time and they were ready to serve it which was really good; so not limited to breakfast only items depending on availability of course. We saw the table next to us order a panini platter which looked really impressive if you're really hungry. Definitely enough for 2 that one!

Popped in for high tea. Excellent quality homemade sandwiches, scones and cakes. Nice large pot of tea and extra hot water was a great accompaniment.The seating is good the atmosphere relaxing and despite being busy it was still a chill out spot. Staff were charming and it looked like they were having to much fun at work. Will definitely return.

Amazing service and massive portions. Chef is very kind and offers to make you a dish that isn't on the menu to cater for your needs. Great staff and atmosphere, always come here with my friends and always have a lovely experience and a laugh with the staff. Would rate this place higher if u could.
