The Three Horseshoes Hotel in County Durham

Just had a meal and can honestly say it's the best meal out we've had for a long time. The salad dressing was amazing!! Great prices and staff were friendly and helpful.

Love this pub. Great atmosphere. Young man behind bar who served myself and my husband with tea and a scone was really polite and provided first class service.

Spent an enjoyable few hours in this absolutely spotless pub, which is also a hotel. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. We weren't dining but the food being served looked good.

I brought my wife here for a surprise birthday present and arranged for her favourite champagne and strawberries with a birthday message. I have to say they looked absolutely awesome with the strawberries decorated in chocolate (whit and milk) and they made our stay extremely enjoyable. The staff were fab and the food amazing. The hotel room was put of this world with biggest shower ever! Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality. Worth every penny! X

My wife booked the Three Horseshoes from comments on travel websites as we have not been to Barnard Castle before. We were not disappointed. The room was very large, very clean and well appointed. The night we were there was very cold but the room was cosy and warm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Well done to all.

I brought my wife here for a special valentines meal and overnight stay, after a walk around the local area we returned to the hotel whereupon my took a tumble hurting her arm and leg.I would like to thank all the staff and visitors who came to our aid and helped me get her back to our room , the restaurant staff made sure we didn't miss our valentines night meal by arranging room service.I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone and we will return again.

This is a nice modern pubThe lady behind the bar was super nice served me the best pint of black sheep I've ever had !Didn't complain about my muddy boots either!Excellent 👌

A beautiful restaurant with lovely, attentive staff. The chef Lee went out if his way to cater for my request for a super nutritious gluten free meal. I was really humbled to see how much cared. Thank you Lee!! Happy Christmas to you all. 💚

Lovely Sunday dinner. Got there just after 3pm. No booking but got sat straight away as table free. Can't fault the food for a very decent price.
