Three Horse Shoes in County Durham

Called in for Sunday Lunch with my family today on Fathers Day and to celebrate my birthday. Food was excellent as always, we had 2x beef, a turkey and a pork lunch.Vegetables, so often undercooked or overcooked at other places, were just right. Service by the ever attentive staff was quick, friendly and efficient.Good value and nice food.

Very tasty food and excellent service. We were asked 3 times by 3 separate staff members about any food allergies that we might have and the menu appeared to identify foods that contained allergens. Good stuff. Would definitely recommend.

A simply delightful stay.Upon our arrival we were greeted by Callum who was friendly, professional and obliging. He escorted us to our room and made sure that we were happy.Our dining experience was also delightful. Josh was our attentive waiter, nothing was too much trouble.As for breakfast, possibly the best we’ve had for years. Again Callum was his usual happy, helpful, professional and attentive self.Thank you all

The food, the scenery, the staff. Perfect combination! We have visited twice and we have fallen in love with the venue. The quality, the service and the well mannered staff surpasses any Michelin stars rated restaurant we've visited around the globe. Thank you very much. We really enjoyed every moment of our dining experience.

Went here for food with my daughter and it didn't disappoint. The food was amazing and all home cooked with a very hearty portion served.The pub itself is very clean with very friendly staff. Will definitely go again. Highly recommended.

I have been past this pub/restaurant many times on my visits to family in the North East and never been in........what a mistake.Real ale, fantastic food with a menu to suit most people, great service and a nice atmosphere. And a bonus to people who try to avoid getting dents in their vehicle, a nice big car park. As Arnie says "I'll be back".

Can't recommend highly enough. Stayed for one night. Very comfortable room, friendly helpful staff, and the food is absolutely wonderful. Delicious evening meal and breakfast. Absolutely flawless

Really good food at a reasonable price. Called in on Wednesday about 11.45 am. Really good service from the couple of staff that served us. We only had main meals which we all enjoyed. 1 x burger (£12.10) , 1 scampi (£12.20) and 2 x chicken and dumping.(12.55 each).When we arrived there were already a couple of other people there . When we left the place was beginning to get quite busy.

Fantastic food. I had the Lamb Shank, super tasty, fall off the bone, melt in your mouth. Absolutely delicious!Well and truly recommend this place. Staff really friendly, polite and helpful.Music, just at the right level.Beer in good form and served just right.It's a 5 ⭐ rating from me!

Really good experience here for dinner. Team are friendly and helpful. Food was great. Service was prompt. Only comment would be for the Mussels to be served with a side bowl of lemon water for messy fingers to be cleaned in and a plate for the mussels for be put on when taken out of the big bowel they’re served to the table in.
