Urban Oven in County Durham

Ordered via a well known app, food did not arrive, spoke to takeaway direct who were incredibly rude. We’ve had lovely food from here previously but will never order again.

Amqzing food we got kebab and love how its wrapped in foil keeps ut hot and fresh when home fresh salad, husband got pizza everything was lovely

Bought chips and garlic which were overpriced to start with at £3.50. Garlic pot was tiny so asked for another one. They told me it was £1 which I was happy to pay but they refused to serve me stating firstly that they had none, then that they were closed, then that I didn’t ask nicely enough for it. I own a business and I always do the most to make my customers happy, I am appalled at how these people run this takeaway. They have zero respect and I will not be using them again! Avoid unless you want to be rudely insulted by a group of men!

Food was lovely, delivery driver was so nice and very smiley! :-) Appreciate that they still delivered even though it was so late. Thanks guys!!

Staff member very derogatory towards women. His comments were disgusting, we asked another member of staff for his name, couldn’t hear quite clearing but maybe Ani or Amie. My friend walked out & didn’t purchase. Food was awful too, never again !!

I ordered a chicken wrap then it came as a kebab I told them I orded a wrap and then they argued with me about what I ordered they eventually sorted it. But when I started eating it I found bone in the wrap it was absolutely awful my mate got exactly the same and he binned his after a mouthfull never again. Plus I saw one of them opening the tortilla wrap packets with their mouth so the hygiene isn't great either 🤮

Food never arrived! Waited an hour only to have order cancelled because drive couldn’t find house, even though I left instructions on notes so driver would be able to find us, they obviously don’t check the notes section on placed orders. Didn’t even get an apology after ringing to find out where our order was.

One slice of pepperoni on a pizza. I would have found it funny but had a 5 minute round trip to collect the kebab that was not packed in order.Absolutely bang average food .....Don't trust the reviews written by local guides, free food always tastes better than it is.

REASONS TO NOT GO HERE:- ordered three trays of food which were an unexplainable price of £7 each!- waited what felt like a decade for my food- shop full of alcoholics- charged an extra £3 for a teaspoon of garlic sauce- kebab tasted like i had licked a burger van floor and was thicker than the man serving us- heated the kebab up from a metal bucket INFRONT OF US- no chance of service with a smile- food was disgusting to say the least

Great pizzeria. Open late. Very good value for money. Offers 2 for 1 on Tuesdays. Offers delivery. Cash only.Variety of food choices - pizza, kebabs, appetisers.I have eaten here many times, and have never had a bad experience. It is excellent value for money especially on 2 for 1 Tuesdays and the staff are friendly and helpful. In the evenings it is always busy and is an excellent place to visit after a night out.
