Zeera Tandoori in County Durham

My favourite indian takeaway! For the price and the portion, it is satisfying. On a busy day, they are alittle late. But they make it up to you! One time my food was delivered late and took them an hour and 30 mins. I was worried I may receive my food cold. Fortunately, I got it nice and hot, and seems like they put in extra effort for their lateness. I always order from here.

Waited over 2 hours for are food, we rang up to ask were it was thinking they were just busy to be told that the house was in complete darkness and the driver knocked and there was no answer even tho I was sitting on the couch 3 feet away from the front door with the door closed with a dog that barks at the slightest noise so your drivers obviously seen there’s no lights on in the house and drove straight off we got made out to be liars on the phone when ringing up we finally got are cold food 3 hours after pre ordering it what a shambles of a company I won’t be ordering from here ever again. !!!!

A good place for the ones who miss Indian home meals in Durham. Tried the biryani, not bad at all. And for the price, it's too good. And what a lovely, polite and professional guy who took our order. Wish it was eat-in too!

Waited almost 2 hrs for food before they lied to uber eats and said the delivery driver was at my door uber eats cancelled the order and refunded the money DONT RECOMMEND

Food arrived on time, friendly delivery driver and very informative about future orders and deals. Meal was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. Thank you, we will be back!

This is the first time we have ordered from here and we'll definitely be back! Nothing was too much trouble and all of the food was amazing - right down to the mixed pickle! Such a lovely owner and a lovely restaurant. 5⭐

Absolutely gorgeous food, not your typical takeout, very clean, not greasy like most can be, and the flavours were spot on, I have just found my new favourite restaurant. Thank you so much for such delicious food. Be back again soon.

Good Indian takeaway. Staff are very friendly. Food is always lovely to the taste BUT can sometimes be slightly cold hence the 4/5. Good special offer on a Thursday night. A one to try if you're a fan of Indian cuisine however as pictured I go for the generic Chicken Tikka Masala 👍

Ordered from here for the first time last week and was not disappointed. Very tasty and flavoursome. Came promptly before time stated. No complaints would recommend👍🏽🥘.

After waiting over 2 hours for our delivery, we eventually received a stone cold order with the only compensation appearing to be 1 free poppadom. We placed the order at around 6.30pm. When it had not arrived by 8pm we called and were told they were extremely busy and that our delivery was leaving with the driver now. 45 minutes later we received our order. We will not be using Zeera again as this is not the first occasion on which we have been left waiting well beyond the advised delivery time.
