Al Forno in Darlington

A fabulously modern venue, can see why it is a popular place to dine in Darlington. The food was great quality and the selection of cocktails were excellent. It was very busy when we visited so we did have to wait a lil while to be seated but we were seated in the bar area while we waited and received snacks while we waited. Would definitely recommend for a date night or meal with friends or family.

Great atmosphere, but my food was mediocre at best, I ordered Tournedos Rossini, which turned out to be the oddest compilation of a Tournedos Rossini I've ever experienced and I've had a few. All the other meals our group had were very nice.

A lovely Italian restaurant in the centre of Darlington, delicious food cooked perfectly and friendly but unobtrusive staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again next time we are in Darlington

On our first family meal here since the start of lockdown, we were very pleasantly surprised by the changes that have been made! The waiting staff were friendly and very attentive, which was the most notably change! The food was very good and our 1 year old was looked after very well by everyone 😊

This is a really nice place. The staff are polite and helpful, and it is a fair price. This is an update 6 years after our first visit. It's still a superb Italian restaurant. Great food and service we have never had a complaint. Saturday lunch is well worth a visit. Thanks for being within walking distance of our house.

A lovely place with great service, the food is just great well presented and nice portions. The place is beautifully decorated and the staff are very helpful, going out of there way to assist us on our dietary needs. A great place look forward to my next visit.

We walk and visit Darlington for couple of hours, and we search on Google maps for a good restaurant for our lunch and we found this brilliant Italian restaurant.The food was brilliant and masive portions!

Absolutely lovely good service was very quick and staff were friendly. Just a little bit disappointed there was only 2 prawns in the surf and turf permesan and it took us 3 times of asking to get the bill. But other than this is was lovely.
