Archers Jersey Ice Cream Parlour in Darlington

It's looking a bit shabby recently, certainly when I compare to it to 4 years ago when it looked beautiful. Perhaps that's just because it's spring and they have been shut down thanks to various Government initiatives?Anyway the important thing (the icecream) is still excellent.The only thing I thought could be significantly better was the service. The reason I say this is because it took well over 15 min to get my order and that was because the girl serving was new and hadn't made it before. So maybe I'm being a bit harsh.

Small but perfectly formed ice cream parlour in a lovely rural location with access to 2 children's olay areas,lots of picnic tables and best of all a great selection of delicious ice cream and other treats. We'll worth a visit.

We have been loyal to Archers Ice Cream parlour for years! We always take our visitors from the south to taste the creamy ice cream and have never ever been disappointed. Until yesterday that is! Not only had the prices gone up, a sign of the times which we reluctantly accept, but the ice cream was not up to its usual standard! Not as creamy , not as flavoursome and was granular in texture as if it had melted and been refrozen. We do hope it was a blip, and hate leaving these comments but you need to know! We will return to see if things are back up to standard😂

ice-cream is totally delicious a tad expensive,but when you consider everything in feeding live stock,buying,maintainance of property, machines and wages.its good value and staff are friendly it's clean,it's got a play area for kids.yeah 👍

Quite expensive but, oh so worth it. Great for kids as there is a play area, football field and a zip wire so, they can play whilst the adults can indulge in gorgeous ice cream. Definitely worth a visit.

Always top quality ice cream every time we visit, definitely worth popping in if you're out and about!

Fantastic selection of ice cream and cakes! Fair prices. Little play area for the kids. Would like some bottled drinks available. Lovely views outside although the new fence is just slightly too high to see it when sat down.
