Had breakfast here today and I was greeted by a very smiley 😃 member of staff named Yvonne, she was accommodating without being over bearing she took me to my seat and went through the menu and took my order, when she returned with my food she said “ there you go my love” how good is that, many thanks Yvonne you made my day.

Staff are really friendly and helpful, unfortunately I was brought my main about 2 minutes after my starter! It was taken back as was eating my starter, only for it to come back out with another member of staff a minute later.When it came out after I had finished my starter, the steak was definitely not medium rare! 😒 Such a shame to ruin a £19 piece of steak.

The restaurant and staff were absolutely fantastic. We had a warm greeting upon arrival, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, they looked after us very well. The food was lovely, the only two points we would make, was the portions were just a tad small and the gravy was a bit watery, but other than that, the overall experience was great.

Took over an 20 minutes to get our order placed, and a further hour for food to come. When the food arrived my steak was undercooked and was greeted with an annoyed staff when I asked to have it redone, I complained I had been her an hour and was told I can just leave it if I'd prefer. After an hour I'd expect the food to be correct. There was 4 other tables in so not sure what they were doing.

Have been twice now and have had great food and service. The staff have been great and of good cheer. Nothing seems to be a problem for them. Would not hesitate to recommend

Popped in last saturday while the wife was drooling over olly murs i had a shandy and ordered the surf and turf and i have to say it was perfect the scallops where beautiful i could of done with a few more prawns but thats me just been greedy.

Very nice place to have meal. Very friendly staff. I was surprised how tasty it was. Definitely one of my favourite places in Darlington to have a meal

Came here as part of a stay at the premier Inn next door. The breakfasts are well designed and lovely. The evening was great too. The Covid-19 safety rules are well thought out too.

Servicing staff was good but manager and cook not good at all. ask for a well done steak and that what you get after 3 attempts. Menu also said lean steak but as you can see nearly one third of the steak was fat. check menu attach in pic. Price does not matter at £20. But for that price you expect the cook to be able to good an 8oz steak properly not on 3 attempts and even then it was still bleeding.
