Burtree Inn in Darlington

Decided to try here for a change never been for year's, absolutely lovely, food was homemade and generous portions, I had steak pie which was delicious, reasonably priced and friendly staff especially the guy who got us our seats in a quieter part,will definitely be going again

Sunday lunch. Veg was freezing cold, lamb tasted fishy. It for food came out so quickly it clearly wasn't cooked fresh.

First time there enjoyed the meal staff very friendly we will be going back price very reasonable I think we might try the Sunday dinner next time

First time visitor, 2 adult meals, 2 children's meals and soft drinks for under £35. Excellent value for money, great food, great service, we'll definitely be back. The comforts menu looks too inviting to pass up.I had the steak pie which looked to be a homemade one (refreshing) and full of chunky meat. My wife had the leg of pork dinner which was delicious.Kids enjoyed their sausages (not cheap ones!).

Excellent! I had my gender reveal here on Saturday and I was well looked after from start to finish! I arranged everything with Andy in the weeks leading up to Saturday. He was a great help, and on the night the staff were excellent we were extremely well looked after. There was 40 guests and everything went smoothly was a relaxed and happy environment. The guest commented on how lovely the food and the service we received was! So Thankyou too all at the Burtree your amazing

Visited in-law and they booked for 7 with additional family.. staff very pleasant food was excellent portions massive... Never eat so much and didn't hurt the budget.. will I go again-- Hell yes. Defo go but book very popular..

Me and my partner popped in for a last-minute late lunch. And it was absolutely lovely. Staff are more than welcoming despite preparing for a busy night ahead. Portions were absolutely perfect. We look forward to the next time we visit.

Absolutely top class meals. The mixed Grill is unbelievable in Quality & Quantity. 10/10. All at reasonable prices. Oh & service with a smile.
