China Star in Darlington

One of the best takeaways I have had.Special fried rice and chips always so delicious.

Just had the worst tai geen curry in murky brown water with an insane amount of chilly in it No tast just burn

Lovely takeaway and reasonably priced, would recommend.

Cold chips greasy chicken chow main and chicken some cold some warm

We always order from here and its always lovely. This evening I ordered the chicken crispy noodles and it was absolutely delicious! We got the food delivered in good time, it was hot and tasted beautiful

I Got Duck in plum sauce with chips there this evening only£6.50 ,absolutley outstanding value for the quality of the meal,i will go back very soon))

Had a "munchy box", unbelievable value at £8.40, served with a big pot of sweet and sour sauce. Staff accommodating of my request to have it without the egg fried rice, and as the box was full it appears to have been made up with extra chips instead.

Shocking food. Quality and portion size. The “crispy beef” should be called “soggy leather”😡🤮This morning I woke up daughter had been sick in the night, two of us have upset stomachs.😡😡😡😡😡😡🤢🤮

Unfortunately not like it used to be it changed hands.Used to go there all the time until I moved. My regular one was closed so opted for China star as I thought was still one of the best! I was wrong!Special fried rice very bland and bit sticky (over cooked )horrible pieces of boiled meat. The special chow main not great either. Sticky and also bland! Chips tashe lilet frozen chip 's. Very disappointing and a wast of money!

I frequented the China Star before and after the change of management and the food is every bit as good now as it was then. I dont go anywhere else.I find the food fantastic and they delivery service is fine too.No complaints from me at all. Give them a chance!
