Cockerton Fisheries in Darlington

Best fish I've had.in.ages

Great service every time. Always busy which speaks for itself. The staff all do a great job 👍

Normally very nice fish and chips, I would even say the best. Past couple of times we have been in on a Thursday night and they have tasted overdone and been very oily

Excellent fish and chips, always fresh and hot

First class fish n chips and excellent service.

Best Fish and Chips in Darlington. I place an order in a Wednesday and get them delivered on a Thursday at the time I asked. Very friendly and courteous delivery.

Once again order was wrong. Specifically asked for scraps in a separate meal and then again in ours. Got home to find no scraps. Not for the first time . The older lady with glasses who serves is that busy talking she obviously can't multi task. I have been a regular customer because the food is lovely but she lets the customer service down everytime, she just can't be bothered to serve properly with a smile. Time to get new staff that know what they are doing

Excellent fish and chips but service can be slow. Called ahead as asked for gluten free and assured it would be ready. Didn't expect the 20 minute wait when I got there.

Always amazing. The best fish and chips by far and make sure you ask for the bread crumb coating as it's crispy on the outside with perfectly cooked haddock (My fave!) Or cod. The staff are friendly and service is first class and fast even when the shop is busy which is most of the time. We always use the small cafe they have. It's a must. Enjoy!

Never had a bad fish & chips meal from here also great curry sauce, son loves the fish bites.Great suprise last time we went poster saying gluten free available, so treat the wife & she really really enjoyed them.
