Popped by for a quick snack before a long journey home. Waited in line, no problem at all, asked what I wanted, told them what I wanted. 2 people came in behind me, they were served, cash taken, away they went, barely any acknowledgement whatsoever. The fryer couldn't hear a word I was saying & I felt like I was the one bothering them. I just walked out. Amateurs at best.

Top class Fish and chips shop in Darlington. I've tried them all but Golden Fisheries is no 1 for quality portion size and the friendliness of the owner and his staff. 10 out of 10.

Not too bad chips were ok and plentiful and sausage good. It's worth a try

Just had a lovely large fish and chips with mushy peas was superb, ordered in advance when I went to collect was all there ready for me, great service would highly recommend the fish is done so well falls apart and tastes really nice alot of fish well worth the money. 10/10
