Mcdonald's Restaurants in Darlington

Absolutely shocking this place. Ordered a few times and there was always something missing from our order but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Ordered tonight, a happy meal each for the kids, a burger each for me and my partner. Order came and was missing a happy meal, rang and spoke to a woman who said that we hadn’t ordered 2 and had only ordered 1 (even though it even said 2 on the receipt and on my order on just eat) argued for a few mins she was adamant that I only ordered one and she was so sure because she packed it herself. She then realised that we had ordered 2 but said we would just have to go through just eat for a refund - they wouldn’t send the other happy meal out that I had already paid for. Checked the 1 happy meal that did come and the chicken nuggets weren’t even in there it was just fries and a toy!! So rang back up and they just said the same - to get in touch with just eat for a refund. Ridiculous they must have about 3 brain cells between the lot of them will not be ordering again.

Food is very poor and always cold do not waste your money

Arrived with my friends and ordered my food, and apparently they shouted 6 times for collection?Now I'm not a fence post and could easily hear if they spoke up!!! They started to escalate the situation by closing all tables and leaving us to sit in the corridor floor with our food before shouting at us for using kitchen trolleys as tables. Totally unacceptable. I thought McDonald's was a restaurant chain, not a joke?

Best McDonald’s in the area rarely have a problem the only time I have is the odd occasion I have to wait a bit longer than usual

Average McDonald’s, Was rammed in the drive thru on a Saturday evening.. decided to eat in as it seemed quicker.. 15-20 minutes wait from ordering to receiving food.. food was on point and hit the spot.. definitely needs support from above to help with productivity!

Utterly shameful, never seen such a fragrant disregard for food safety or infection control, particularly during a pandemic by allowing staff to wear there own clothing & outwear, whilst handling and preparing food. Truly disgraceful!

Got a cheeseburger and I sweet chilli chicken wrap. Cheeseburger was stone cold and the wrap was plain with only chicken and bacon when we asked for no mayo and no onion. Where the hell was the other stuff like lettuce and the sauce??? And £10 for a stone cold burger? Ridiculous

Decent food. Food is quite greasy and occasionally the drive-thru line comes to a stand still. Could be better

This was my 3rd and final visit. The car park is a maze of diversion signs, which make no sense. My main complaint is that on each of my 3 visits to the drive-thru it has taken over 10 minutes from the order point, to actually receiving my food. Visiting times have ranged from 6am to 10pm, and still the same waiting time. Never had this issue at any other McDonald's.

Not one for this type of fast food ordinarily, but needs must at the weekend ... and I have discovered their chicken strips. Absolutely delicious! So much so that midweek I was back for more. Drive through was fairly quick and efficient. No hanging around for food to be ready which was brilliant.
