Well what can I say, called in with my wife as I thought it would nice after she finished her night shift. Well never again it was dismal at best and down right dirty. Self service was lovely and easy but that where my enjoyment stopped with a slap round the taste buds. I ordered the beg breakfast and the wife made one up. On arrival at the table it was dirty and we had to ask for it to be cleaned when could find a member of staff to do so. Our breakfast arrived and it looked really good, so my disappointment could be felt for miles. Fried bread like concrete, beans cold, mushrooms under cooked, tomato under cooked, black pudding under cooked. We wished we had stayed at home instead. The staff make me feel like they don’t care and are just going through the motions. Abi Amal will not be going back any time soon. 😡

Went to the cafe today at North Road and asked for two breakfasts which weren't available because it was after 3oclock but we were offered Brunch instead which has the same food but with chips instead of hash browns. We agreed to this and when the order arrived the bacon was mummified and the eggs could have been used to retread my tyres. It was quite obvious that the offering was the left over breakfast which had been dehydrated under the hot lamps and recycled as brunch. At no point did the staff come and ask if everything is OK with the food.Poor service, dreadful food.... Do not waste your time and money there...Only sorry that I had to leave a star..Peter Crossley.

Excellent value food , shame about the glass roof in cafe its just like sitting in greenhouse .

Couldn't fault the breakfast . . . and half price ! ?? It's a no brainer.

My partner and I eat here on a regular basis but the last few wednesdays we've been the food has been cold, when we mentioned this they took our food away and microwaved it but when both dishes have eggs they end up hard and the ketchup, mayo etc turns to a hot ness on the plate. Strange how every other day the food is hot.

Breakfast was nice until I noticed the egg yolk was raw and full of jelly, told a member of staff and she kind of just brushed it off said she would tell the kitchen then walked away, sausages was burnt black also..

·

Cutlery was dirty tables uncleaned and coffee machines often out of order in the north road branch

·

Good food for the price. Friendly staff and a play area for the kids. Plenty of seats.
