Fish ok but a little pricey. Chips not nice at all

So Glad They have brought the Great Chippy Back to Our Street, When We Moved Round Here everyone said it used to be nice but gone down hill, Saw it was Under New Management thought I would give it a Try and never looked back , Highly Recommended, Great Portions and Reasonably Priced 👍

Lovely cheesy chips with garlic sauce 😋 and jumbo battered sausage will definatley use again

Fish ok but the batter was stuck to the paper when we unwrapped, usually that means too much fat/grease still in the fish causing the batter to go soggy by the time you get the meal home.Mushy peas way too runny (almost liquid) and had visibly too much black pepper, if I want pepper on my peas I'll put some on!And a tip, there are way too many chips on a regular portion, more than enough for 2 people, so save some money if buying for more than one!New management so still finding their feet, I reckon a couple of small changes and would easily be 5 stars

This is the best Fish&Chip shop in town. It's no where near our closest, but it's worth the drive. Always good food, very fresh and the nicest chips from any takeaway. Can be very busy on a Friday night though.

Updated April 2018 - what used to be my favourite chippy has now changed hands - for the worse. No more fresh crisp food, what is served now is limp, greasy and unpalatable, I've tried it 3 times since it changed owners and each time most of the food went in the bin as it was inedible what a shame they couldn't keep up the previous great standards.
