A shame the cafe is no longer open due to covid restrictions but they do stock amazing produce and everything is highly recommended!

Amazing little farm shop and butchers where every item sold is organic. Everything we have had so far has been delicious and of outstanding quality. Their organic wine selection is excellent. Highly recommend a visit if you’re wanting to support organic producers and shop small.

We went to buy some cheeses for Christmas. The lady kindly checked which were vegetarian for us. Lovely shop, loads of really nice local produce and the village is lovely for short walks.

Our favourite part of Piercebridge organic farm is the butchery and since we discovered it we are regular visitors. The meat from this farm is simply unbeatable. As a result of a medical problem my wife Carole must avoid all processed food in her diet, she loves meat though so therefore organic is our obvious choice. The flavour of the meat from Piercebridge is simply superb. We really enjoy visiting the butchery and as well as the staples like lamb/pork joints we like to spend quite a while there picking special treats that take our fancy. A couple of braising steaks we bought recently cooked very slowly in Porter beer were absolutely delicious and the gravy ...... wow. Another special meal was a lamb joint wrapped in foil and cooked in the oven for over 4 hours on a low heat. Simply the best I have ever tasted.

Compact farm shop that supplies quality produce to the public, coffee available with external seating area.

Lovely shop in beautiful surroundings. Bit disappointed with range of veg when we visited, but guess this may be due to harvest?Good choice and range, reasonable prices for farm shop. Butchers looked great and will enjoy the sausages I am sure.Worth a visit.

We love this shop! We make a special effort every week to come and get some delicious organic meat! Well worth it! Our particular favourite is the Piercebridge Porker burgers!

I have recently bought Harry Hodgson’s eggs from Broom Hall Farm. These eggs were the best eggs I have tasted. Beautiful orange colour! Brilliant to bake with and beautiful tasting. I will be paying the shop and cafe a visit very soon for the first time as I haven’t lived in Durham very long having moved up from Yorkshire, so this place is like a little godsend for me!
