Can’t complain with service or the food what I can complain is the owner of this restaurant some how finding my young daughter on social media and sending friend requests posing with cars. Very unprofessional and not sure how he found her either we thought we went to a family run business. Will never return again

We used to eat regularly in Reema and it was always good. We knew it had changed hands and decided to visit last night. We were seated in the raised area towards the rear of the restaurant. This area was undergoing renovation and there was damp plaster on the walls. The service was friendly, the food was average but my Wife found a hair in her meal. When we pointed it out there was little in the way of apology. We asked for the bill which was the full amount. When I took my coat off the back of my chair it was covered in plaster dust from the radiator behind it, as I left I said to the young girl at the desk that it was the worst experience I had ever had in a restaurant, she shrugged her shoulders. As you can imagine we won’t be going back.

Second Indian I have tried in Darlington. Below average in my opinion. 4 different dishes ordered. My dish was lacking in flavour and had no heat at all despite being listed as hot on the menu.Despite being the only table dining, service wasn’t very attentive.I wouldn’t return simply because there is much better options! Shame because it is in a great location.

Walk-in on a Friday evening, was found a table with no problem at all as the place was empty. Service was cool but not frosty. Meal was promptly served, hot and tasty however it was evident that frozen veg was used in the vegetable dish. This short cut isn't acceptable when dining out. Additionally, one of the 'senior' waiting staff incessantly snorted phlegm all evening. Although I'm not personally bothered by this and I guess on a busier evening (!) it may have been less obvious - it's still a fairly revolting habit and doesn't add positively to the dining experience.I ordered a beer, popadums and a main. From start to end of meal I was the only customer, dining (and no take-aways left the kitchen). Draw your own conclusions.

This used to be a great restaurant ... Very friendly and accommodating. I haven't been for a while so I'm assuming it's changed hands. We arrived at 10.30pm to eat a late supper and were continually hurried along and harassed and stood over by the waiters, so much so, that we didn't finish our meal. We were made to feel so uncomfortable that we just paid and left. It was 11.40 and we the only customers in .. so we just assumed they were desperate to go home. Not like it used to be and we won't go again.

The food was incredible one of the best Indians I have had they also made sure what was and wasn't gluten free for me with no fuss or confusion, it was a little expensive but you get a lot of food and really nice quality. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed the atmosphere. I enjoyed the nice little touches like after 8 with coffee and a hot cloth to clean hands and face, really enjoyed myself and would defiantly go again no question. Only down side not very nice dessert but I went for the coffee so stick with that and ull have an incredible meal.

Reema is well known and established as a really good restaurant. The food is consistently good, brought quickly to the table - but not too quickly. And the owners make you feel welcome and at home. It's unfailingly a top experience. I've taken my wife there, business associates and my mates. It's not ultra-posh. It's reasonably priced. It is comfortable and clean and well presented throughout. I'm delighted to recommend them as have been a customer for many years.
