We ordered from taste of India as really fancied a good curry, and we were not disappointed, hubby had chicken korma and was delicious I had chicken tikka massala and it was very tasty, Poppadoms and onions bhajis were spot on. Garlic and cheese naan was delicious and so tasty. Definitely recommend.

Wouldn't feed a bugie..still looking for the prawns..worst curry ever had.. cold curry .. very disappointed.. waited 2 hours.. rip off.. would not order from here again

Ordered a take a way at 18-25 arrived 20-15 food was cold tandoori chicken no meat all bone and tandoori paste, paid on the taste of India website delivery driver didnt have a receipt and wanted payment had to get her to ring and check wont be having a delivered take a away again from this restaurant, we have eaten in the restaurant and the food there or service we have no complaints

I was a loyal returning customer, everytime I wanted Indian this was my go to place.. but not anymore. The taste & portion size has changed significantly, its disgusting. I ordered cauliflower & potato curry- the cauli was raw and hard. Then they mixed cauli bits in my pilau rice, it never came like this before. Literally 6 pieces of meat in the lamb curry. Offered free popadoms but never came with the order. Quick delivery as always but it seems to reflect on the food now. Spend your money elsewhere, this place is no longer worth a penny.

Had a meal tonight. Bought a groupon deal.The food is amazing! Was so nice.. the people couldn’t do enough to look after us! So lovely. They rang a taxi for us - when they said an hour wait, the owner took us in his car (was only a 2 minute car drive)Def would visit again. Amazing service and lovely food.Thanks

Had a lovely meal tonight. Service was friendly , efficient and endearing to our needs. Food was not only priced very well but also was cooked and presented perfectly. Was looked after entirely and felt extremely valued. I travelled a long way to visit Darlington and will visit this restaurant again without hesitation !

What a lovely evening, we are from Scarborough, staying for the weekend with friends. We had a beautiful meal here, the food was absolutely spot on. The restaurant is ran by a husband and wife team, who's hospitality made us feel like we were eating in their home, very warm and friendly, I would recommend you try it.

Great food, friendly service and excellent value. After visiting the theatre on a Friday night we found that this was the only restaurant still open in the area (it was only 10pm).The staff were very friendly, the food arrived relatively quickly, and was delicious. All the staff seemed very friendly and keen to make us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend.

I was not impressed when myself and my fiancee went for a meal there last night. On first impression the restaurant looked unclean, no atmosphere and was cold. Subsequently I kept my jacket on. We ordered our food with the waitress and the starters were nice. She brought the plates out for our main but they were cold. Our main food orders arrived but they were wrong. Both meals had been cooked with the wrong meat in each dish. The waitress apologized and took my meal back to be recooked while my partner said he would eat his. By the time mine came back out my fiancee had finished his which ruined the night. We were offered no discount and got a half hearted sorry from the Manager. I certainly would not recommend this restaurant
