Amazing food a pretty good service, rather pricey mind. Didnāt realise till after we left that our substitutions were added to the bill as extras.

Such a pretty cafe with very friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast roll and cappuccino was lovely. Ill definitely visit again when i come back to the UK in July

We went to try Cactus CafĆ© & Kitchen having recently traded as Tea with Alice. Whilst the staff are friendly it took almost an hour for some sandwiches to be made & delivered. If it had been busy it may have been understandable, but it wasnāt. The drinks came quite quickly but we wanted fresh drinks with our meal not cold coffee and flat Coke. We had a similar experience when it was Tea with Alice so wanted to see if service had improved, but unfortunately it hasnāt so for us I donāt think we will be back. Food was ok but not great.

Busy Saturday morning brunch and all staff were lovely and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a full English breakfast and pancakes. Really yummy and big portions. Would absolutely recommend!

Had lunch here this week with a friend and our children. Itās a real shame the welcoming child friendly ethos has now gone. There isnāt a small play area as there used to be.We had to ask for the childrenās menu, despite us being with 2 5 year olds and 3 year old.Food was fine, but our main issue was being told āto quite down our childrenā. We have never been asked this anywhere - and definitely not in a family based cafe. When we were asked this by the member staff, we had already asked for the bill, so leaving was imminent anyway, we had been there almost two hours so there were only a couple of other customers left there too. The children were certainly not being naughty, simply a little excited having not seen each other for a few weeks. The children had pancakes - which were great, and coffee was super hot, which is excellent and as exactly how I like it, so Iāll probably return, just without my children.

As this place only opened in March 22 and has totally new owners why are all the reviews for Tea With Alice along with their 4.6 star rating still present ????

We loved Tea with Alice and always thought the food was fantastic and great for price, it has recently been put under new management and rebranded to Cactus Cafe and Kitchen so we thought we would give it a try. We went today for the reopening, one of us got the chicken tikka flatbread for Ā£4.50 which came with a small portion of potatoes for an extra Ā£2 so overall the meal came to Ā£6.50, the only thing inside of the flatbread was some shop bought cold chicken tikka slices, there was no effort for some mango chutney or other sauce to bring the flavour out more. We also noticed that avocado on toast was Ā£10 and thought this was well overpriced. We enjoyed our drinks and cake but donāt think we will be going back for food which is a disappointment
