The Mowden in Darlington

A sombre occasion a funeral tea. Very good atmosphere and amiable staff. Mowden has a good food reputation.

Food was good, recenably priced. Better experience than I anticipated

Very good overall ,however, as we were there after being at a funeral we probably didn't take as much notice as we may have under happier circumstances.

Just been for Sunday Lunch three generations of our family a Brill lunch attentive service and value for money 5 stars

Great service , delicious food ! The staff is so warm and nice. I highly recommend this cozy pub to anyone who likes good ambience, drinks and food ! You won’t be disappointed.

Always great food, great service and a brilliant atmosphere.

Us 6 girls had a lovely meal last night. Staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food is always very good. Looking forward to coming back in January for my birthday. Thank you.

Lovely pub and great staff. They allowed our carving club to use the marquee for a meet up. We'll be eating there soon as the menu looked lovely.
